Will and Megan are RUNNING AWAY! Coronation Street will NEVER be the same! ‍♂️

**A Desperate Escape: Will Driscoll’s Heartbreaking Betrayal Shakes Coronation Street**

Weatherfield is bracing for a week of high-stakes drama as the grooming storyline involving teenager Will Driscoll reaches a fever pitch. In a series of shocking developments, the vulnerable youngster is set to turn his back on his family in a misguided attempt to flee the country with his manipulative predator, Megan Walsh. However, a series of unforeseen obstacles and a poignant intervention from an unlikely source may be the only things standing between Will and total ruin.

The Driscoll family has been left fractured ever since the horrific truth about athletics coach Megan Walsh came to light. Having carefully groomed Will into an illegal relationship, Megan has proven herself to be a master manipulator, successfully evading police charges by destroying evidence and weaponizing a fake pregnancy. Despite the street’s collective loathing of her, Will remains firmly under her psychological thumb, unable to see the monster behind the mask.

The drama intensifies next week when Will’s mother, Melanie Cindy Humphrey, arrives with a radical solution: taking Will to Scotland for a fresh start. While Ben Driscoll is initially resistant to losing his son, Melanie plays a dirty hand. In a chilling confrontation with Will’s grandmother, Maggie, Melanie threatens to expose Maggie’s alleged involvement in the death of Will’s adoptive father, Allan. The blackmail works, and a reluctant Ben is pressured into agreeing that a move to Scotland is in Will’s best interest.

However, the “fresh start” is merely a smokescreen. Will, secretly in league with Megan, has no intention of crossing the border. In a move that will leave Ben devastated, Will betrays his family’s trust by stealing £2,000 from the safe—money Ben believes was lost due to his own negligence. As Ben, Eva Price, and baby Susie tearfully wave Will off in a taxi, they believe he is heading toward healing. In reality, he is heading toward a secret rendezvous with Megan, handing over the stolen cash to fund their flight to Paris.

What Will doesn’t realize is the depth of Megan’s cruelty; the predator has no intention of taking the boy with her. She wants the money, not the liability.

The tension shifts to the confines of a Street Cars taxi, where Tim Metcalfe unknowingly becomes the last line of defense. When a notification reveals that the Glasgow train has been cancelled, Will’s desperate insistence on going to the station anyway raises Tim’s suspicions. Back on the street, the panic sets in for Ben and Ali when they realize Will’s passport is missing. A frantic message is sent to Tim: *Do not let Will out of your sight.*

In a powerful moment of character synergy, Tim realizes he is looking at a mirror of his own past. Decades ago, Tim lost his virginity to an older woman named Trisha, a relationship he only recently processed as abusive. As they drive, Tim opens up about his own trauma, attempting to break Megan’s spell by showing Will that he isn’t a boyfriend in a romance, but a victim of a crime. Whether Tim’s words can pierce through Will’s brainwashing remains the week’s most pressing question.

While the Driscoll family teeters on the edge of collapse, other shadows loom over the Cobbles. The investigation into Theo’s murder is heating up as Detectives Lisa and Kit zero in on Gary Windass. With alibis crumbling and scaffolding poles seized as potential murder weapons, the net is closing in on a prime suspect. Meanwhile, Summer Spellman prepares for a bittersweet exit to an American university, and the mysterious Jod maneuvers her way into Daniel’s flat, using his secrets as leverage to secure a roof over her head.

As *Coronation Street* heads into a week of calculated betrayals and painful revelations, the question remains: Can Will Driscoll be saved from himself before Megan Walsh disappears with his future?
