Sally just made a big move with Billy. Now, they’re on the brink of a breakup. Fans of The Young and the Restless couldn’t help but notice this startling pattern in all of her relationships.

So Much For Her Happy Ending

It wasn’t too long ago when Billy (Jason Thompson) asked Sally (Courtney Hope) to move in with him. Now, he sabotaged their relationship because he wanted revenge on Victor (Eric Braeden).

Billy had to get his hands on Cane’s (Billy Flynn) A.I. software so he could take down The Mustache. Sally wanted no part of that. So, she walked out on him.

However, she’s not sure whether she wants to still be in a relationship with Billy. She’s never seen this side of him before and isn’t quite sure what to make of it.

Y&R fans wonder if she’s cursed. One person asked on Reddit, “Anyone else notice that whenever Sally moves in with a boyfriend, they end up breaking up a month later? So, after she and Billy break up, will she run back to Adam or Nick?”

“Hopefully, she’ll stay single for 10 minutes, maybe they could have her work on a career and become a strong, independent woman,” one Redditor responded.

However, some fans are on board with Sally and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) becoming the next power couple. “Sally + Audra would be 🔥🔥🔥.”

Someone else noticed sparks fly between Sally and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) at one point. It seems like they were chemistry tested, but the writers dropped the idea afterward.

What Is Sally’s Backstory?

Most fans have enjoyed watching Sally’s storyline since she appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful. They think she’s long overdue for her own happy ending.

Unfortunately, she hasn’t had much luck in the love department. Whether that’s due to a lack of men or luck remains to be seen. (Will Billy’s stupidity bring Sally and Jack together again?)

“I’d love for her to finally be engaged and wear a wedding dress. I’ve been with her since the beginning of Bold and Beautiful (she was great with Wyatt), and now on YNR, she’s never had her happy ending, at least a temporary happy ending, since everyone gets married 15 times, LOL,” one passionate fan wrote.

Maybe diving into Sally’s backstory can help viewers relate to her again. “I think that because Sally had a bad childhood, the writers need to give her a long-lasting relationship, including her having a baby,” the original poster suggested.

Sally was raised by her grandmother after her parents were sent to prison. She was also raised by her great-aunt Sally Spectra I (Darlene Conley) and her sister, Coco (Courtney Grosbeck). Sally’s upbringing led to her fear of being abandoned, which could explain why she moves so fast.
