Grey’s Anatomy has an all-new episode airing tonight, titled “When I Crash.”

Here’s the synopsis of the ep: Grey Sloan takes in patients following a catastrophic bus accident. Teddy and Owen have an awkward encounter, and Richard tests Bailey’s patience. It’s directed by Phylicia Rashad!

Fans might not be happy to learn that, even though we’re only 6 episodes into the season…it will be a while before another new episode airs on ABC.

With the fall finale airing tonight (November 13), the next new episode won’t air until January 8, 2026.

While it may seem like a bummer, it’s actually very common for TV shows to take breaks for the Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s holidays.

It looks like this year, ABC is opting to have an 8-week long hiatus between episodes to allow for an extended break for the holidays before picking up again in the new year.
