The Young and the Restless star Lucas Adams previews what’s next for Noah Newman
The Young and the Restless viewers have been staring at Noah as he’s been all bandaged-up in a hospital bed. Viewers might get a peek at more of Noah on Tuesday, November 4, as Noah’s portrayer, Lucas Adams, is going to make his official debut!
The Young and the Restless, Noah’s story arc

Adams, who first came to the attention of soap fans when he was cast as Days of our Lives’s Tripp in 2017, wasn’t 100% sure of what part he was reading for on Y&R when he got the opportunity to audition for the show. ““It was all very hush-hush, so I didn’t know the official character when I was first doing the audition process,” he told TV Insider .
However, Adams says that he received enough intel to know that it was a fun role, and he deduced that the part was Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) son, who’d been living in London for a bit. The actor felt that the audition had gone well, and he was thrilled to be cast on the part of the Newman heir.
Prior to Adams being cast, actor Rory Gibson played Noah. Now, Gibson is on General Hospital as Michael.
One big happy family

Recently, Adams shared with Soap Central about his first gig on the show back in 2012 when his one-day part, Wesley, fanboyed over Diana DeGarmo’s Angelina. That’s not only the full-circle moment for the star. DAYS’s Tripp is the son of Ava (Tamara Braun, who is know Sienna on Y&R). He also knows Billy Flynn (Cane; ex-Chad, DAYS).
Also, Adams’s DAYS dad, Stephen Nichols (Steve), did a turn on Y&R as Tucker. He was able to share with his former TV son that he was going to a wonderful place! Additionally, the actor’s mother, Shari, is a devoted Y&R viewer, who knows what an honor it is to be playing a Newman, given the family’s prominence on the show.
Don’t be surprised to see Noah still in bandages from his horrific car “accident” when Adams makes his debut. The actor is happy to be playing a role different from his alter-ego in Salem. “Yes, they have similar tendences, but it’s really nice to get to play a completely different chracter and go down this long, twisting, and turning road.”
