Days of our Lives troublemaker Sophia has let her crazy out! The character’s been through a lot, but reality seems to be escaping her as she gives off Jan Spears vibes.

Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) behavior has always been questionable at best. It began with her crush on Tate (Leo Howard), which had her betraying her best friend, Holly (Ashley Puzemis).

When she popped up pregnant after her first tryst with Tate, DOOL fans were not convinced he was the father of her child. That still may be the case, but that’s not what has her reminding us of another Salem lunatic.

The web of lies Sophia has spread to keep her secret about Baby Tesoro doesn’t scream sane person. However, considering her overbearing mom, we could kind of understand her actions, until this week.

Sophia unraveling over Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) trying to adopt her baby flipped a switch in her that has her reminding us of Jan Spears (Heather Lindell).

Back in the early 2000s, Jan’s obsession with Shawn (Brandon Beemer) caused her to do all sorts of crazy things, like kidnapping him, morphing into Belle (Martha Madison) so he would have sex with her, and claiming to be pregnant with his baby. Those are just a few of her lunatic actions.

Like with Jan, Sophia has that psycho demeanor about her that she was able to hide, but was at the surface all along. Crossing a line isn’t a problem for either of them; it’s another thing they have in common.

In an attempt to destroy Johnny, Sophia is setting the stage for it to look like he’s having an inappropriate relationship with Holly. This would kill two birds with one stone, hurting Johnny and causing a rift between Holly and Tate.

Something tells us this crazy train angle the writers are giving Sophia is far from over, and we will likely see more elements of Jan in her as she fights to keep her secrets while getting what she wants.

Not going to lie; we don’t hate that Sophia is channeling her inner Jan. Even though her actions with Holly were disgusting, the drama does make for good entertainment.
