Netflix’s New ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Replacement Acquisition Becomes a Streaming Hit in America
Doc is one of the latest Fox shows that is either wholly owned by the network or a co-production with other companies, in this case, Sony Pictures Television. It is based on the Italian series, Doc — Nelle Tue Mani, and stars Molly Parker as Dr. Amy Larsen, a tough Chief of Internal Medicine. On one fateful night, Amy gets in a car accident that erases the past eight years of her life. Consequently, she has been demoted at work and must learn everything anew if she is to stand a chance of reclaiming her position. However, Amy must confront the life she lived before the accident as she learns about her not-so-good reputation in the hospital. Doc also stars Omar Metwally (Michael Hamda), Amirah Vann (Gina Walker), Jon Ecker (Jake Heller), Anya Banerjee (Sonya Maitra), Scott Wolf (Richard Miller), and Patrick J. Walker (TJ Coleman).
