Huge blow to EastEnders legend as she has two new shows AXED within six months of leaving soap…

It comes as the former Walford stalwart, who played Albert Square’s Sonia Fowler for 32 years, recently revealed her BBC podcast co-hosted with Gavin & Stacey’s Joanna Page has also come to an abrupt end.
Natalie said of her latest show being binned: “I don’t think it went down very well, if I’m honest.
“I don’t think it will come back. At the moment there is no talk of it.
“But I loved it and it was a great experience for me to do.”
What’s The Big Deal? saw Natalie test popular products to see if they lived up to the hype, in what was her first big job away from acting.
Her podcast with Joanna, which was called Off The Telly, was on far more familiar territory, with the pair chatting all things TV.
But at a literary festival in Somerset to promote her new book Happy Days, which is about her life on and off screeen, Natalie told fans the BBC had second thoughts about it.
She said: “We had a laugh doing it and it is a shame the pod ended.
“I don’t think it will be back.
“With the BBC sometimes, what happens is, through no fault of their own, they love exploring new stuff and they do chop and change.

“And if something isn’t massively, massively popular, then they will just get rid and try new material.
“That is kind of what the BBC is for.
“The money is from you guys, so they do need to change things and make things new.”
At least Natalie can take comfort in the fact she will always be welcomed back in Walford.
THE Masked Singer and In With A Shout host Joel Dommett has joined forces with the viral Voodoo Brass Band, DJ Suat and social media sensation Red Carpet Boy to celebrate the launch of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days event, which returns today and tomorrow.
EX PATSY: I NEVER SEE LIAM
PATSY KENSIT and Liam Gallagher clearly aren’t one of those ex-couples who stay mates.
The actress, who split from the rocker in 2000, hasn’t seen the Oasis singer for “26 years” – even though they have a son, Lennon.
Asked if she’d been to any of the band’s reunion shows, Patsy replied: “No, I watched the whole thing unfold and it was so magical, those memories, and I haven’t seen Liam for 26 years.
“But I’m so happy for Lennon, because he’s gone to watch this cultural explosion.
“I couldn’t be happier for the band and for all the people rediscovering them.”
Patsy was speaking on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, which airs on Sky Max tonight.
She also reveals that Liam and brother Noel were pulled over by cops after taking a golf buggy, following their Knebworth gigs in 1996.
SIR GARY OLDMAN says that being in Apple TV+ show Slow Horses is the closest he’s come to a proper, full-time job since going into acting.
On Virgin Radio, he added to Chris Evans: “I’ve worked before I was an actor in regular work. But now after five years, we have season six in the can.”
GRAHAM KEEPS ON TALKING
GRAHAM NORTON’s famous red sofa will need an MOT now his chat show has got the go-ahead for three more series.
He has agreed a new deal with the BBC that kicks in next year – for the host’s 34th run.
Since launching on BBC Two in 2007, before switching to BBC1 after two series, the how has become a staple and attracts A-list talent, as well as giving a platform for British comedians.
Graham said: “Getting to host my own chat show is a huge pleasure, as well as a privilege.
“I’m thrilled that the BBC are allowing me to continue for another three years.
“The team is looking forward to bringing the world’s brightest stars into the homes of the great British public.”
There’s still nobody who does it better on these shores.
ESTHER DIGS JEZ ON FARM
VETERAN TV host Esther Rantzen has paid a glowing tribute to Jeremy Clarkson.
The ex-Top Gear star impressed the former That’s Life! presenter by shining a light on farmers’ struggles.
Esther said: “Clarkson’s Farm has been formative in changing attitudes, showing us urban ignoramuses the struggle involved in creating a farm.
“Although I’ve never been a fan of Top Gear, I’ve always been a fan of Jeremy Clarkson as a unique broadcaster.
“This Amazon Prime series shows him in a new light, facing real challenges and forcing us to recognise how difficult feeding the nation is.”
In the Radio Times, Esther also praised Freddie Flintoff’s Field Of Dreams.
DALES’ LESLEY FINED
FORMER Emmerdale actress Lesley Dunlop has been taken to court on driving charges after failing to give driver details to police.
The soap star, best known for her role as Brenda Walker, appeared before magistrates last week following two traffic-related offences.
It came just months after her bitter exit from Emmerdale.
Court records show that on December 2, 2024, she, was alleged to have driven at 67mph on the M606 southbound in Bradford, exceeding the 50mph limit.
The offence was recorded by an automatic camera device.
In a separate incident on March 26 this year, the actress failed to provide information identifying the driver of the same vehicle when requested by West Yorkshire Police, in breach of the Road Traffic Act.
She pleaded guilty at West Yorkshire Magistrates’ Court and got four points on her licence, plus a £222 fine.
AMANDA’S JACKET, SHIRT AND THIGH
AMANDA HOLDEN has every reason to be sitting pretty.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge was dressed all in brown – including tie, boots and blazer – and flashed some thigh as she arrived for BGT auditions in Birmingham.
She is between filming the new series in Birmingham and Blackpool, but has been juggling it with hosting a new quiz.
The Celebrity Inner Circle launched on Saturday, with 2.9million tuning in.
The non-celebrity version began on BBC One yesterday and today she will no doubt be helping fellow BGT judge Simon Cowell celebrate his 66th birthday.
