Home and Away has released a gripping first look at its earth-shattering 2025 season finale stunt, teasing a disastrous train crash for some of the residents of Summer Bay. Set to air towards the end of the year in Australia, fans in the UK will get the special episode early in 2026.

Sharing the dramatic new teaser trailer on the soap’s Instagram page, the post was captioned: “The countdown to impact has begun… The Home and Away season finale, coming soon to @channel7 and @7plus.”

In the trailer, the cast can be seen waiting at a train station for a vintage style train where they are set to have a party on board.

Per the trailer, some teenagers who have been messing around in a tunnel run away from the train leaving their bikes on the tracks, which causes an accident.

On board the train, the moment of impact is shown as one member of the cast is seen falling backward as the train crashes.

Per TV Week, the episode will follow some of the Bay’s finest as they head to a music festival in support of newcomer musician Eddie Shepherd (Stephen Madsen).

Jumping on board a party train, the group of festival goers make their way to the event while enjoying drinks and dancing — and there’s even a surprise proposal on the cards.

As the gang enjoy their party, they’re unaware they’re moments from disaster as a group of teenagers who have been graffitiing in a tunnel hear the train coming.

After the teenagers make a run for their lives, they leave their bikes on the tracks, which causes the train to flip off the tracks.
