Eva and Ben rattled in Coronation Street as son Will hides major secret
The Driscoll family are settling into Coronation Street as the latest landlords of the Rovers. But Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) and Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) have immediately got something to worry about other than maintaining the quality of the hotpot. Ben’s younger son Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) is missing.
Will stayed behind in Hull when the family moved to Weatherfield but they were expecting him to arrive by train in Monday (November 3)’s episode.

His brother Ollie (Raphael Akuwudike) went to the station to meet him off the train, but there was no sign of him. Calls to his phone got no reply – and the family were seriously worried.
Will’s grandmother Maggie (Pauline McLynn) reminded Eva that Will had never wanted to move away from Hull and said he’d probably decided to stay put – a comment that wasn’t very helpful to anybody.
Ben decided to head straight to Hull in a bid to find his son. Meanwhile, as Eva and Maggie went through Will’s things in search of any clues as to what had happened to him, they found a note that implied he was in love with someone.
A worried Maggie told Eva that she would blame her if anything bad happened to Will.
In coming episodes, Ben returns from Hull without having been able to find Will and the family decide to call the police and report him missing.

What they don’t know is that Will is closer than they think. In fact he’s watching from across the street as the police go into the pub.
He asks Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) to grab something from inside the pub and offers her £20, but instead she tells Ben and Eva that Will has asked her to get his passport.
The family are relieved when Will walks in with Megan, his athletics coach from Hull. She says she found him sleeping in the changing rooms and drove him over.

Will tells his parents he wants to stay in Hull with his mates, but they question why he would need his passport if that was the case. It’s clear that Will is hiding something, but he has no intention of telling his parents. He does, however, agree to stay at the Rovers and to start school at Weatherfield High.
Things don’t get off to a great start, though, as he asks Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) to skip school with him. In the Rovers’ back room Will confides in his new friend – and tells him he has a secret girlfriend.
As the boys help themselves to a beer, it’s not long before Maggie catches them. How will she react?
