Emmerdale fans are convinced they know who is going to take down villain Ray Walters.

Dangerous dealer Ray (Joe Absolom) made his debut on the ITV soap this year – and it didn’t take him long to cause some drama in the village.

As viewers will know, he has trapped youngsters April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) in the dodgy world of drug dealing.

At first, it was just Dylan working for dangerous dealer Ray. However, soon enough, April was lured into the dodgy industry and took on jobs for Ray after he decided she could be useful.

Despite wanting to get out of the criminal activities, April and Dylan are stuck and continuing to work for Ray to pay off their ‘debt’. In reality, there is no debt as the cunning and sinister Ray has been lying to the youngsters.

Things then took a shocking turn when it was revealed that the boss in charge is Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) who is Ray’s mum. This week though, April and Dylan decided to make a run for it with some of Ray’s cash.

April is in danger

In Wednesday’s episode (October 29), Ray found out and blackmailed the pair into coming back. If they didn’t show up he would harm April’s family, including brother Leo (Harvey Rogerson).

Soon enough, Ray arrived to pick up April and Dylan but instructed only Dylan to get in his car. April then attempted to stand up to Ray but the nasty resident snapped at April. He then warned her that if she wanted Dylan to be safe, she must do whatever her client asks tomorrow, to which she agreed.

But now, with ruthless Ray set to cause more drama, fans are predicting the return of a soap legend to take him down. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “This Ray story is doing my head in! Someone just k.i.l.l him already.”

Predicting the return of Scott Windsor (Ben Freeman), someone else said: “Scott Windsor return to do it?” A third chimed in: “Be good if Scott returned as he still has history with loads of people.”

Scott is the brother of April’s late mother, Donna Windsor (Verity Rushworth), so this makes him April’s uncle. He was last seen on the soap in 2007 – but has been mentioned several times.
