Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ who takes down Celia Daniels after ‘glaring hint’
Emmerdale viewers are convinced that a well-known character is about to bring down Celia Daniels as her wicked schemes persist.
In Monday’s episode of the ITV soap (November 17), April Windsor (played by Amelia Flanagan) reached out to her grandfather Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) after being arrested for drug possession.

The young girl had been in Newcastle carrying out a drug-related task for Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and her son, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).
April’s recent criminal endeavour followed a harrowing incident where she was sent to a house where a man named Callum attempted to assault her. In self-defence, April struck Callum with a bottle, believing she had killed him.
She promptly informed Celia and Ray, who handled the situation to prevent her from getting into trouble. It was later revealed that Callum was still alive, reports the Daily Star.
After being detained at the police station, she contacted Bob and requested that he act as her appropriate adult, fearing that her involvement in Celia’s operation would be exposed if Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) went to the station instead.
The officer in charge speculated that April was found with drugs because she is working for someone else. Despite the officer’s suspicions, April remained silent, hoping to avoid further trouble.
Upon returning to the village, April was immediately confronted by Celia and Ray. The duo questioned April about her arrest, but she assured them that she hadn’t divulged anything to the police.

After April exited the conversation, Celia seemed irritated by the teenager’s arrest, while Ray defended April, stating, “She’s just finding her feet.”
Celia then issued a stern warning that if April continued to make mistakes, “the little tramp will wish she had never been born”, but her harsh words seemed to unsettle Ray, who walked away from his mother with a look of annoyance.
Following Ray’s reaction, some Emmerdale viewers are speculating that Ray might betray his own mother to protect April.

One viewer speculated on X: “I wonder if Ray will end up killing Celia to protect April?”.
Another added: “Ooh! That would be nice. I like Ray- that could be his redemption arc before Ray goes to prison. And how poetic… Ray was saved by April’s mum and she died. So Ray saving April by Celia will be sort of Ray repaying the debt.”
A third commented: “#emmerdale Ray is going to double-cross Celia isn’t he.”
“That look and sigh from Ray suggest he’s had enough of Celia sheer nastiness towards April #emmerdale”, noted another viewer.
While one fan predicted: “Judging by that look I wonder if Ray will end up being the one to save April in the end? #Emmerdale.”
