EASTENDERS star Shona McGarty was spotted without her engagement ring at Heathrow as she heads to Australia for I’m A Celebrity.

The actress, 32, flashed a big smile as she arrived at the London airport last night ahead of her stint in the jungle.

Shona, who plays Whitney Dean on the BBC soap, looked stylish in an oversized faux fur black coat and a pink jumper.

She looked in good spirits but her engagement ring was noticeably missing from her finger after The Sun revealed she had split from her Irish musician fiancee.

The actress showed that she’s ready for jungle life with a fresh set of nails featuring cheeky bug designs.

Just yesterday, Shona shared a cryptic post on “new beginnings” and being “unapologetically me” after her shock split with her fiance.

Irish guitarist David Bracken popped the question last year but sadly their relationship has faltered.

Actress and singer Shona, 34 — who found fame at 16 playing Whitney Dean in the BBC One soap — was said to be still on good terms with 36-year-old David.

Yet now she has posted a mystery message on her Instagram grid about embracing her new chapter with an “open heart.”

In a message accompanying a video showing her applying her make-up in the mirror, Shona wrote: “I’m finally learning to just be me, no filters, no apologies, no shrinking to make others comfortable.

“It’s a new beginning, and this time I’m stepping into life with open arms and an open heart.

“I’ve spent too long second-guessing, dimming my light, trying to fit into spaces that were never meant for me.

“But now, it’s about freedom, being comfortable in my own skin, owning my story, singing LOUD, with all my flaws, and my fire.

“This is the start of really living, fully and authentically. From here on out, …I’m … unapologetically me.”

Last week she released her debut single — Unapologetically Me — a song which highlights her powerhouse vocals.

SAD SPLIT

Shona was recently spotted without her wedding ring as she ran errands.

A source previously spoke of their relationship and said: “They are on amicable terms, but have ended their romantic relationship.

“There are no hard feelings, they realised they wanted different things and are better off as friends.

“Shona is now focusing on her music and career.”

Shona and David, who lives in Ireland, met on TikTok two years ago and the former Blessed band member proposed during a picnic in Kensington, West London.

Opening up about the proposal to OK magazine, Shona said at the time: “David took me to this beautiful Japanese garden because I love Japanese culture and the spirituality of it.

“He brought a picnic, which was really sweet. It was lovely, I was in my element but I didn’t think he was going to propose.”

Discussing plans for an Irish wedding, she said: “We want to get married in Ireland because I have so much family there, as does David.”

Shona previously dated EastEnders co-stars Max Bowden, 30, who played Ben Mitchell, and Matt Lapinskas, 36 — Anthony Moon in the soap.
