Zoe Slater dropped yet another baby bombshell in EastEnders last night (Thursday, October 23), admitting to Kat that she’d lied about Dennis Rickman being her twins’ father. Zoe sent the Walford rumour mill into overdrive when she returned, having given birth to twins during her time away – one of whom had died in the hospital.

Zoe is now determined to find her surviving son, and attempted to get Sharon to fund her Private Investigator with the revelation that Dennis was her babydaddy. Although shocked, Sharon agreed to help Zoe find her long-lost-son.

The funding, however, has taken a while to emerge. With Sharon distracted by Vicki’s beating at the hands of Joel Marshall, she’s once again left Albert Square. Impatient, Zoe resorted to stealing from her mum – alerting Kat to another set of lies when she realised what she’d done.

Zoe finally came clean last night… although many had seen it coming from a mile away.

Taking to social media in the wake of last night’s episode, fans shared their thoughts on Zoe’s bombshell. And it had taken few by surprise.

“Zoe admitting that Dennis wasn’t her kids’ father wasn’t worthy of a doof-doof. ‘Cause we all knew she was lying the moment she said it,” wrote one fan on X.

“Yeah we knew that zoe!” exclaimed another.

A third said: “Obvious Dennis isn’t the father of Zoe‘s kid! That’s why she’s vague to private investigator.”

“Tonight’s Duff Duff was such an Anti-Climax,” said a fourth. “We know Zoe‘s son wasn’t Dennis’s but why didn’t they tell us who the father is?”

Kat exposes Zoe’s lies in EastEnders spoilers for next week

Kat doesn’t keep Zoe’s secret for long, if next week’s spoilers are anything to go by. Kat’s preoccupied with Zoe’s big secret, although her daughter is more interested in looking for her (already) missing Kat.

Meanwhile, Vicki speaks to Ian about the search for Zoe’s son. Realising how important it is to Sharon, Ian agrees to transfer her some money to help.

Later, overhearing a conversation between Vicki and Ross, shocked Kat blurts out Zoe’s secret. As the shocked punters react to Kat’s bombshell, pub quiz night at The Vic comes to a screeching halt.
