Thanks to the blackout and their elevator mishap, Belle will mull over how EJ truly feels about her.

However, EJ’s admission about his lingering love won’t be enough to convince Belle to get back together.

There’ll also be a fire at Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Arianna “Ari” Horton’s (Marissa Reyes) dorm after Holly accidentally swats at a candle in her sleep.

It’ll create some flames and set off the fire alarm, but Tate Black (Leo Howard) seems poised to save Holly from her room.

Unfortunately, this dramatic DOOL rescue won’t end the tension between Holly and Tate.

Days spoilers say Holly will keep some emotional distance in place and will eventually get Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) lecture about the whole fire debacle.

Back with EJ, he’ll reach an agreement with Stephanie as more gala preparations are made.

Stephanie will eventually turn her attention to Jeremy’s comeback, but he’ll interrupt when she’s trying to explain the story of her ex to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Days spoilers say Jeremy will bring “Steph” flowers and act all sweet, but she’ll remember a more sinister side of Jeremy and may open up to Alex about that part of him later.

After Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) saves Gwen von Leuschner (Emily O’Brien) from her blackout predicament, she’ll score a little more bonding time with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).

Will Gwen develop any new suspicions about Cat and her agenda?

Cat will continue her mission to gather evidence against EJ and take him down with Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) help, but there could be some snags – especially since part of Cat seems rather charmed by Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) brother.

Days spoilers say some baby devastation is also coming up for Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) since Sophia’s complaints will tank their chances of adopting Tesoro.

It’ll be a crushing blow when Chanel’s chance at motherhood is suddenly ripped away.

Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) scheme involving those Holly bedroom photos may add to the drama by making her scandalous affair accusations seem true.

Of course, Sophia perhaps isn’t as smart as she believes she is!

If Holly and Johnny really think about who’d have a motive to set them up for trouble, they may settle on Sophia as their top culprit.

Finally, Chad will fret over Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and the possibility that he’s keeping something from his father.

We’ll see Chad push Thomas for updates on any news he might want to pass along.
