While couples consider adopting baby T, the truth about the infant’s true identity gets closer to being exposed, according to the Days of Our Lives spoilers. Plus, Rachel makes a confession after learning her mother’s prison fate, and a beloved son returns home to Salem. Here’s your DOOL video preview for the week of September 8-12, 2025 (and check out what else happens this week).
Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) commiserate over the men they’ve loved and lost. “Time goes so quickly,” says Maggie. “Quickly for some, slowly for others,” responds Julie as she brushes her hand over the photo of her beloved Doug (Bill Hayes) and then clutches it to her heart.
Javi (Al Calderon) discusses the situation that he and Leo (Greg Rikaart) are in with their foster child, T. “The waiting period is over, Leo,” explains Javi. “Tons of people are going to be competing to adopt the cutest baby on the planet.” And it’s evident that Javi would like to be one of them.
Chanel (Raven Bowens) also has adoption on her mind. “I already have a baby in mind,” she proclaims to Johnny (Carson Boatman).
Baby Drama
Meanwhile, a few Salemites begin connecting the dots regarding the real identity of baby T. Namely, that the little boy is actually Sophia (Rachel Boyd) and Tate’s (Leo Howard) child.
“Do you remember how I told you that that firehouse baby could not have been Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd)?” recounts Brady (Eric Martsolf) to Steve (Stephen Nichols). Steve nods his head, signaling that he does.
It appears that Rafe (Galen Gering) has some suspicions about baby T, too. He swabs the child’s mouth while looking after him at home, clearly planning to run a DNA test to find out the child’s true identity. “So is he right? Could the baby be theirs?” Rafe asks someone.
True Confessions
Brady has to deliver terrible news to his daughter, Rachel (Alice Halsey). It’s about her mother, Kristen’s (Stacy Haiduk), prison sentence, after she confessed to shooting EJ (Dan Feuerriegel).
“How long, Daddy?” the little girl asks her father. “Six. Six years, baby,” Brady responds to his little girl.
The news crushes poor Rachel, who later opens up about it to Holly (Ashley Puzemis). “It’s my fault my mom’s in prison,” bemoans Rachel.
Coming Home
A member of the DiMera family returns to Salem and arrives on the doorstep of the family home. It’s Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews).
“Well, welcome home, Theodore,” smiles Tony (Thaao Penghlis), greeting his long-missing nephew. “So what’s this proposal you have for me?” Theo asks his uncle. Tony responds with a sly chuckle.
