Days of our Lives Spoilers October 1: Holly Pushes Tate Away as Sophia Puts her Plan in Action

Days of our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, October 1 ring in a month of thrills and chills with Sophia pulling a serious trick on prospective adoptive parents, Chanel and Johnny.

Sophia (Rachel Boyd) has every right to begrudge Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) a happily ever after — especially with her baby! If Chanel and Johnny had kept their word in the first place, they could have had their baby, and Sophia wouldn’t have had to keep lying to Tate (Leo Howard) and her family.
But since Johnny decided to have a meltdown, Sophia’s life is in disarray. So why shouldn’t Chanel and Johnny’s be, too? They thought they had Tesoro’s adoption in the bag, now that Mama Mayor Paulina (Jackée Harry) had pulled the appropriate strings. So they’re blindsided when everything doesn’t go their way immediately, like they’ve been raised to expect. What do you mean they’re being treated like regular people? Does the adoption agency not know who they are???
Holly and Kayla Surprise the Black Men
Because Tate is so obsessed with figuring out Sophia’s lies about their “daughter,” he hasn’t been paying enough attention to Holly (Ashley Puzemis). Which prompted her to throw a fit and dump him. She doesn’t regret it. And, even if she did, she wouldn’t give Tate the satisfaction of knowing it.
So Tate is sad. And confused. As is Brady (Eric Martsolf), when Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) gives him news he wasn’t expecting about the mysterious firehouse baby.
Stephanie Gives in to EJ
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) listened to Stephanie (Abigail Klein) when she said his clinic should be named after Tom Horton (Macdonald Carey). In exchange, she promised him that a group of Hortons would attend their gala, announcing it.
The two have figured out how to work together, with EJ getting what he wants, and Stephanie pretending to hold the line for truth, justice, and the Salem way. Now they have another deal to make.
