Coronation Street Toyah star claps back at troll as she unveils huge new tattoo
Coronation Street legend Georgia Taylor has called out a troll who criticised her new tattoo
Coronation Street’s Georgia Taylor was quick to hit back at a rude troll online who mocked her gorgeous new tattoo.
The actress shot to fame playing Toyah Battersby on the ITV soap. Toyah rocked up to the cobbles back in 1997, along with the rest of the Battersby clan including sister Leanne (Jane Danson).

And over the years, Toyah has played a part in several big storylines; from her shock rape on the street to the tragic death of husband Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo), her time in Weatherfield has not been short of drama.
Especially in the past 12 months, as not only did she battle ovarian cancer, but Toyah also struck up an affair with Leanne’s beau Nick Tilsey (Ben Price). The truth eventually came out and as you’d expect Leanne was livid.
However, the pair have since rekindled things following the return of Leanne’s sister Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) last month.
Away from the soap, Toyah actress Georgia is no stranger to keeping her 104k Instagram followers updated on her everyday life. And this week, the soap star delighted fans after she showed off her new tattoo.
Taking to her Instagram, Georgia shared several photos from her trip to the tattoo artist, including a close-up photo of her stunning new flower-inspired body ink.
In the caption, she wrote: “First visit to the newly established @tiger_heron_tattoo today. Sarah @big.bird.tattoo and Paul @stretch.armstrong.tattoo have created the most gorgeously chilled, safe and inclusive space. It’s an absolute joy hanging out with you both. Sarah, thank you for decorating my body so beautifully, as always.”
Toyah’s fans were quick to rush to the comments section to praise her new tattoo. However, one follower wrote: “Please tell me that’s not real.” The comment didn’t go unnoticed by Georgia. She clapped back: “Of course it’s real.”

What’s more, another troll also appeared to leave a rude comment that has seemingly since been deleted. Replying to a social media user, Georgia defiantly said: “What a f****** weird thing to say. Maybe I’m having a midlife awakening.”
Nonetheless, plenty of other followers were loving her new body ink. Someone else gushed: “It’s beautiful just like you.” A second penned: “Absolutely beautiful darling.” A third chimed in: “I’m having serious tattoo envy right now. I need to get mine booked in. That’s lovely.”
