Coronation Street fans jeer ‘in what world are we supposed to believe this?!’ as major character’s ‘real age’ is finally revealed
Coronation Street fans have been left with their jaws firmly on the floor after a character’s ‘real age’ was revealed.
One of the most familiar faces on the Cobbles is Ed and Aggie Bailey’s son James Bailey, who has been a major feature of the show since the family’s arrival in 2019.

After being dropped from his footballing job at Weatherfield County FC following a diagnosis of heart disease, he left for a new life America with his then-partner Danny.
But the relationship did not work out and James returned to Weatherfield earlier this year and has since embarked upon an affair with Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard).
James’s real age was revealed during a conversation with Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) after his mum Eva asked James to give her son a PT session amid his struggle to adapt to his new life on Coronation Street.

When the family first moved into the street, their youngest son, Will (Lucas Hodgson-Wale), 15, was away on a school trip but when he fails to return, his illicit relationship with his former sports coach Megan is revealed
In a bid to stay on the run longer, he tries to pay her to get his passport from his parents’ house, but she refuses and lets Will’s family know – prompting even more serious concerns for his welfare.
Will is eventually forced to let his family know that he is okay when he turns up at the Rovers once again, this time with his sports coach, Megan.
She tells the family that she had discovered him camping on his own and did the responsible thing of bringing him straight back home. But little do they know that she has been grooming him the entire time.
Smelling a rat, Will’s dad Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) asks why she did not phone them to tell them know the teen was okay, Megan said it was because she feared that Will would run off again.
Later that night, Will sneaks off to meet Megan again in an alleyway and she warns him to stop acting so irrationally.
In disturbing scenes, the paedophile assures the teenager that their relationship will be able to continue if he listens to her.
