BREAKING NEWS !! Home and Away showdown as Leah crosses a line with Lacey
Home and Away spoilers follow for UK viewers.
Home and Away’s Leah Patterson-Baker and Lacey Miller are set for a showdown soon, following on from Theo Poulos’ recent death at the hands of corrupt councillor Craig Wendell. Leah blames Lacey, Theo’s girlfriend, for his death, as she dragged him along to confront Wendell.
In scenes set to air in the UK soon, Justin Morgan struggles with the commitment to Remi’s record label as he hasn’t processed his grief for Theo yet.
He talks to Leah about counselling, but she dismisses him, telling him that if he wants to talk to a stranger about Theo’s death, she doesn’t want to be involved.
He returns home to find her deep cleaning the fridge, and she doesn’t pay attention to what he has to say about how the counselling session went.
She later explains to Alf Stewart that while she wasn’t keen on the counselling, hearing Justin talk about Theo’s positive influence on him did get through to her.
Leah has been avoiding confronting Theo’s love of music, but she soon arrives at his apartment, where his guitar is. She catches Sonny listening to the Lyrik album and shares with him what Justin said to Theo when he gave him the guitar – “in this house, music is never a waste of time”.
Meanwhile, Remi asks Justin how they can best honour Theo. Later, Leah and Justin talk about how much the guitar meant to Theo and they show up at the ‘Back On Track’ studio, Theo’s guitar in hand. They want it displayed in the studio to honour Theo.
Sonny then arrives with a plaque with the phrase ‘In this house, music is never a waste of time’ on, leaving Leah touched.
Later in the week, Leah runs into Lacey while alone on her way to the Diner. Blinded by her grief, Leah is unable to see that Lacey is hurting too and lashes out.
Cash Newman manages to step in and stop them before any physical damage is done, but not in time to stop Leah hurtling some hurtful words at Lacey.
Can the two put aside their differences and come together to grieve Theo properly?
