The drug boss currently haunting the Dales might have more connections to the village than we think

Emmerdale fans ‘confirm’ that all three standalone episodes must be connected after a telling clue from Celia Daniels.

Actress Jaye Griffiths made her Emmerdale debut this year as Celia Daniels. She was introduced when a neighbouring tenant farmer called on Moira Dingle to enquire if she can rent two of her fields.

However, things have escalated in recent weeks as viewers learned that Celia is the ruthless drug boss who Ray Walters keeps referring to in order to get Dylan and April to work for their drugs business.

Not only that, but Celia was also revealed as Ray’s adoptive mother – a twist that viewers didn’t see coming.

In recent episodes, Ray and Celia lied to April that the man who she was sent to have sex with, Callum, had died after she hit him over the head with a bottle.

Not to mention, Celia is firmly involved in the disappearance of Bear Wolf as a special episode will highlight the horrific and very real world of modern slavery.

Earlier this year, the ITV soap confirmed that they will air three special standalone episodes.

The first episode was shown earlier this month and was centred around April wanting to tell Marlon Dingle everything that had been happening with Ray and Celia.

A twist showed Marlon being shot dead, but it was soon revealed to be a dream – the fear of it coming true forcing April to stay quiet for the foreseeable.

Bear Wolf will be the second special episode showing his descent into being exploited as a modern slave, and the third will be Robert Sugden’s prison past after being sentenced six years ago.

Now, after a telling clue, viewers believe that Celia is connected to all three special episodes.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), @robrondryanfan posted a clip of Celia knowing that Robert had been to prison as she quipped: “Sugden… They let you out”.

The poster wrote: “The first thing that popped into my head this morning was how Celia knew Robert had been inside. We thought from that moment that she could be involved in Robert’s backstory somehow.

“It’s going to be interesting to see if we are right. Also I read yesterday about how all 3 special eps could be linked. It’s only a theory but it’s possible. Yesterday was the first time I saw about the possibly being linked.”

@kjlherbalife replied: “I’m starting to think they’re all connected. Will be interesting to see it all play out. Minds working overtime on theories right now” as @pinksweetheartx agreed: “I just don’t see why we would have all these little snippets of things if they aren’t some how connected? I’m so intrigued to find out how it’s all going to work out”.

Another viewer, @mackenzielaura7 penned: “Yeah I thought at the time it was strange she knew him and it’s been a jiggle ever since. All 3 eps are also being shown very close together so why would they do that ? There could very well be a link.”
