EastEnders reveals Junior Knight exit story as another character plans to leave
EastEnders’ Junior Knight shocks his family next week when he announces that he’s heading back to Dubai for good. There’s yet more turmoil for George when he finds out that Kojo Asare could soon be going home as well, but are both characters set to bid farewell to Albert Square?

The week begins with George and Junior teaming up to support Kojo, who is eager to return to his flat following the latest developments in the drugs operation he has become embroiled in.


But Junior takes the opportunity to open up to his dad and Gina about how much he’s missing his son Xavier, who is on the other side of the world – and Kojo spots his chance to sneak back home unnoticed.
This kicks off a violent chain of events that has devastating consequences for a number of families in the Square. As the situation continues to escalate, George and Junior find themselves at odds again, and things get even worse when Junior drops an unexpected bombshell…
“Junior confesses that he’s accepted a job back in Dubai,” says our source.”His mind seems totally made up about his future plans, as he’s already booked his flight.


“George is completely blindsided; to say his relationship with his son has been turbulent would be an understatement, but he doesn’t want to be thousands of miles away from Junior once again.”
George faces even more pressure when he gets a message from his brother Kobina, demanding that Kojo returns to Ghana as soon as possible.

As the week continues, George attempts to make amends with Junior before he leaves. But Junior isn’t happy to discover that his dad plans to follow Kobina’s orders and send Kojo back home.


The pair angrily discuss this life-changing decision, but Kojo overhears their row and descends into panic. Junior manages to calm his uncle down, but Kojo remains adamant that he won’t be returning to his previous life – so Junior takes matters into his own hands…
“Junior sets about changing George’s mind,” reveals our source, “working to convince him that Kojo is happy where he is and they can keep him safe in the Square, despite everything that’s happened. Will he be able to win over his dad?”
With time running out, Junior grows desperate and decides to pay Ravi a visit, in a last-ditch attempt to help Kojo. What is Junior’s plan – and who will end up leaving Walford by the end of the week?
