Emmerdale’s April Windsor’s refusal to do one obvious action and ‘end story’ confuses fans
Emmerdale fans have called for two “evil” characters to be put in their place following the latest episode of the show – but say they’re confused by one character’s lack of action.
In tonight’s episode, April was still reeling from the aftermath of Thursday’s horrific events. Celia and Ray had attempted to pimp her out to men, but April panicked and hit one over the head, killing him.
She called Celia and Ray for help and the pair made moves to cover up what had happened. While doing so, they made it clear that this just made their hold over her even greater. When April demanded they let her go, Celia threatened her family. However, fans think the pair could be in for more than they bargained for if they clash with the Dingles and are confused as to why April hasn’t turned to them for help.
One fan, @iamjamietv, wrote: “Every Dingle, even Sam, could beat Ray in a fight. Then there’s Celia. Kyle could just shoot her. He took care of Al. All April has to do is tell any one of the Dingles and this story is over.”
@oliviarose18xx added: “The thing I don’t get with this April storyline is that she’s a Dingle. Cain, Caleb, Charity and Chas would be queuing up to put Celia in her place and that’s before we’ve even got started on what Ross would do”. @macnamara60 responded, saying: “Cain HATES anything to with drugs, too. If he got wind of what Celia & Ray were up to, they’d find themselves in deep s*** very quickly.”
Then, @dmcb002 said April might take things into her own hands, writing: “She’s definitely got the dingle blood though, she’s going bump them all off herself”.
@EmmaDale022 argued: “How are celia and ray sure april is not gonna tell her parents or the cops? They seem extremely sure of themselves – a bit unreal all this”.
About Celia, @roscoeleebarnes simply said: “Celia is pure evil”.
