How old is April in Emmerdale and how long has Amelia Flanagan been in ITV soap?
Emmerdale’s April Windsor has become the latest villager to seemingly turn into a killer after she hit sleazy ‘client’ Callum over the head with a glass vodka bottle
Things are set to go from bad to worse for April Windsor in Emmerdale.

The 16-year-old schoolgirl, played by Amelia Flanagan, was left traumatised this week as Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffths) and Ray Walters (Joe Absolom) set her up with a predatory client after grooming her into a dark world of sex and drug trafficking.
April was ordered to meet up with sleazy newcomer Callum and have sex with him. However, after appearing visibly uneasy throughout their introduction, April refused to go ahead with the ordeal – defying the evil warnings she’d been given by Celia and Ray.
When Callum then tried to force himself on April, she defended herself by hitting him over the head with a vodka bottle and seemingly killing him.
In Friday’s (October 31) episode, April contacted Ray to let him know what happened and was confronted by both him and Celia in a secret showdown at the B&B.
The mother-son duo unite to cover up Callum’s grisly fate by appearing to dispose of the body but they warned April that it’s going to cost her.
Celia told April that her supposed debt has increased yet again after Callum’s demise. She also played on April’s emotions by threatening her father Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), grandfather Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) and boyfriend Dylan Penders (Fred Bettle).

Referencing all three, Celia slyly asked: “Do you know the game Snog, Marry Avoid?.
Well, should you get any more unwelcome ideas, we’re going to play my version of that game with the three most important men in your life.
“My version is called Burn, Stab, Drown. Any questions?”
Although April had hoped to quit working for Celia and Ray after the latest chaos, she’s left feeling more trapped than ever.

Actress Amelia, 17, has played April since 2014 and is the older sibling of twins Isabella and William Flanagan, who play Hope Dobbs and Joseph Brown in rival ITV soap Coronation Street.
