EastEnders fans are saying that they’ve ‘solved’ a major Cindy Beale mystery as Jamine’s fate was revealed after she was struck by a car.

Introduced to viewers of the BBC soap last month, and played by Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, Jasmine has her sights set on Cindy.

Quickly getting a job at The Albert, Jasmine has been dropping hints about just why she showed up on Albert Square.

On Monday (October 20) Jasmine went on a night out with Gina Knight, who is unaware that her boyfriend Harry Mitchell is being held captive by Okie.

During their drinks, Jasmine pressed Gina for information about Cindy, snapping at Oscar Branning when he tried to impress her during their conversation.

Deciding to take their night out to a different venue, Jasmine was struck by Nigel Bates, who went off for a drive in his old car, but managed to push Gina out of the way.

In scenes which aired on Tuesday night (October 21), Nigel entered panic mode as he tried to help Gina and Jasmine, who was seriously injured.

Calling his wife Julie Bates for help, she covered for him by tampering with the wiring of the car to make it seem like Nigel wasn’t to blame.

As the girls were taken to hospital, Jean Slater spotted Julie and quickly realised what happened. Trying to make Julie see sense, Jean eventually decided to help her keep Nigel’s secret amid his dementia battle.

Prior to Julie arriving, Jasmine told Nigel: “I can’t die like this. She’s ruined everything. She needs to pay for what she did.”

Undergoing a blood transfusion, Jasmine was eventually revealed to be okay as Oscar sat by her beside to support her.

In another tease that all is not as it seems, a nurse told Oscar and Gina’s dad George that Jasmine told her mum not to come to the hospital as she didn’t want to make a big deal of what happened.

With the reveal of who Jasmine’s mum is on the horizon, EastEnders fans once again took to X, previously known as Twitter, to share why they’re certain her mum is linked to Cindy.

@LenzLovezBoxing commented: “Right remember before Gina came to the square they had bars in Marbella. And Gina had that older boyfriend who got her hooked into drugs and then George found out and he got sent down for like 10-15 years? Guarantee jasmine is the daughter or sister of the guy.”

For those unaware of who the Fords are, Jackie Ford was a character who Cindy shared a cell with in 1998 prior to her exit.

Having turned informant on Jackie’s activities, Cindy faked her death and vanished from Albert Square for over 20 years before her eventual return.
