Soap fans are in for a treat as a star known for his role in Eastenders will tread the boards in Darlington next spring.

Max Bowden, best known for his roles as Ben Mitchell in EastEnders and Justin Fitzgerald in Waterloo Road, will be joining the cast of ‘Murder at Midnight’ as Paul.

Darlington Hippodrome said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Max Bowden will be joining the cast of Murder at Midnight as Paul!”

The comedy murder mystery promises plenty of twists, laughs and unexpected turns, keeping audiences guessing right to the end.

Max will be joining Jason Durr and Susie Blake in the star-studded show, which will run from Wednesday 1 to Saturday 4 April.
