BUSTED! Jodie’s dark secret EXPOSED as police finally corner Coronation Street’s killer

The aftermath of Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) murder is still at the forefront of Coronation Street next week, while the surviving villains continue to cause havoc.

Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is on the case to find Theo’s killer, and he’s got his sights set on one particular suspect.

Meanwhile, Daniel Osbourne’s (Rob Mallard) plan to hide out in his flat takes an unexpected turn when he gets a surprise visitor.

Elsewhere, Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) leaves Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) stunned with his latest move.

Telling you about it is one thing, but why not take a sneak peek for yourself with our new spoiler videos?

Will and Megan meet for a clandestine chat in the ginnel at the precinct, and she once again twists the truth about their baby, though Will seems largely unaffected as he suggests they try again at a later time.

When Megan learns that Will has stolen £2000 from the pub, she is horrified, but he’s convinced it’s the answer to their problems.

Though at first she demands he return it, fearing it could be traced back to them, Will assures her that there’s no way the family will suspect him – and by the time they do, it will be too late.

If there’s one person on Coronation Street who has The Audacity, it’s Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown), and she demonstrates it with ease as she lets herself into Daniel’s supposedly empty flat.

Only, Daniel hasn’t gone anyway, and he gets the fright of his life when he exits the bathroom and finds her standing in the kitchen.

When her instinctual tactic of faking neighbourly kindness by insisting she’s there to return a lost key fails to pass Daniel’s in-built lie detector, she quickly pivots and resorts to blackmail.

When that also fails, she finally tries to appeal to his better nature by playing the victim and revealing that she has nowhere else to go.

Will Daniel cave and let her stay?

When Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) bump into Kit in the street, Gary can’t help but make a dig.

However, Kit is unbothered, making it very clear that Gary is still his prime suspect in Theo’s murder, even going so far as to suggest that Maria has given him a false alibi.
