It’s safe to say there’s ever-lasting repercussions following murder week on Coronation Street.

Friday’s dramatic episode ended with the demise of villain Theo Silverton. Of course what follows next is a whodunnit, with several suspects in the frame.

As the police investigate the murder, evidence will be collated and discoveries and secrets will come to light. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, some of the cast involved in the dramatic storyline have promised some big moments ahead.

One actor described “life-changing” consequences for their character, while another star teased the show will be changed massively. James Cartwright, who played murdered Theo, told us: “It’s like a brick in a duck pond. The ripples go out and out.

“It’s going to affect everybody. It’s going to change the fabric of the show. Someone’s going, someone’s killing. There’s big revelations, we find out different things.

“If you are a home sleuth you might ant to watch and figure out who’s done what to who. There are clues, you just have to follow the breadcrumbs.”

Jonathan Howard teased how it may impact his character Carl Webster whose fate remains unclear after being attacked by Ronnie Bailey. He told us: “If Carl survives I think the events and what he’s gone through this week will be life-changing for him.

“If he dies, the Websters, most of them, are gonna have mixed emotions. If he survives then hopefully there is a chance for him to redeem himself a little bit. As long as he can still be an annoying lite brat.

“If we don’t lose that I am happy to have a bit of humility.” Shona Platt actress Julia Goulding and Jodie Ramsey actress Olivia Frances Brown also had their say. Julia revealed: “I think it affects the street as a community.

“There are lots of little strands coming off of how it all links together. It has just been written so cleverly.” Olivia added: “Oh there’s going to be repercussions for everyone.”

Julia said: “Yeah, everyone. It’s like the match at the end of the dynamite.” Meanwhile, Megan Walsh actress Beth Nixon said: “There is gonna be loads more twists and turns.”

On what fans will see for Debbie Webster, actress Sue Devaney told us: “I’m hoping you see a lot more of the fun side of Debbie for the next few months, with her girlfriends.

Maybe going away, having a good time, maybe some spa time, all the things she loves. The girls are great, it’s like me and my girl friends.”
