Ashley Puzemis burst onto Days of our Lives in 2023 as Holly Tate, daughter of Nicole Walker and the late Daniel Jonas. At first, she was a bratty teen, self-centered, and let her boyfriend, Tate, take the fall for it. Born and Bred
Puzemis was born on May 7 and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She ultimately moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career and currently lives there.
Road to DOOL
Puzemis secured the role of Holly on DOOL after submitting a self-tape audition and completing several chemistry reads with actors testing for Tate. She learned she had booked the part on April 8, the day before her birthday, making it an exciting early birthday celebration. Puzemis began working on the project the following week.
Golden Opportunity
Puzemis is nominated for a 2025 Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series. Puzemis reacted to the news on her Instagram, posting, “ok…so like this is the most INSANE thing ever!!! Puzemis isn’t just a soap star—she’s also appeared on Nickelodeon’s Danger Force and HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls, starred in Public the Band’s hit music video Make You Mine, and led commercials for brands like Universal Studios, Mountain Dew, Six Flags, and Gibson Guitars.
