đ§ Where Is Blue Bloodsâ Tony Terraciano After His Brother Andrew Terraciano Was Recast in âBoston Blueâ Spinoff?
Tony Terraciano and Andrew Terraciano played Donnie Wahlbergâs onscreen sons in Blue Bloods, but where is the actor who played Jack Reagan now after his brother was recast in the Boston Blue spinoff?
The CBS series, which premiered in 2010, followed the lives of the Reagan family, many of whom worked for the NYPD under the leadership of NYC police commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck). Frankâs father, Henry Reagan (Len Cariou), was also central to the show alongside Frankâs children: daughter Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) and sons Danny (Wahlberg) and Jamie Reagan (Will Estes).
Viewers saw Jack and Sean grow up in front of their eyes, so imagine their surprise when CBS ordered the Boston Blue spinoff, which focused on Dannyâs relationship with his youngest â with a twist. Before Blue Bloods premiered in October, the role of Sean was recast with newcomer Mika Amonsen.
â I had somebody call me â actually the day that I was graduating â and they had spoken to my mom and she called me [crying]. They were like, âThey might be looking for a different Sean,ââ Andrew exclusively told Us Weekly in December 2025 about the onscreen change. âShortly after we got the news, Donnie called me. It was a really beautiful moment of getting to hear from an old friend but also somebody that you respect so much and have learned so much from.â

Andrew expressed gratitude for his time on Blue Bloods.
âItâs beautiful because youâll always remember every single line and every day that you had the opportunity to be that character,â he shared about his time on the hit CBS series. âIt doesnât mean for even a second that somebody else canât go and do something beautiful with it.â
Andrew continued: âI got the joy of playing Sean, and I got to send him off into the world. Now somebody else gets that joy. Weâre both getting to show what we do and then send Sean off into the world.â
â I helped produce a friendâs short film recently, and I look forward to every opportunity that I get to act,â he shared. âYou get a passion and you canât get rid of it to continue to act and continue to participate in creating in any way, shape or form. I would love more than anything to be an actor for the rest of my life. But Iâm a huge Star Wars fanatic so I would really do anything [in that universe]. And I would love to try out a sitcom.â
While Amonsen is playing Sean, his older brother Jack has yet to appear on the show. Tony, for his part, has remained tight-lipped about his future in the franchise. He hasnât posted on social media and hasnât appeared in any new roles since Blue Bloods.
Jackâs appearances on Blue Bloods decreased before the final season as Tony began attending Vanderbilt University in 2018. The child star studied neuroscience and was pre-med before graduating in 2022. Tony then attended medical school to earn his Doctor of Medicine and is set to graduate in 2026.
