Theo Carver has been a beloved part of Days of our Lives since his birth, and over the years, fans have watched him grow from a child of Salem into a young man navigating complicated family ties. This week, Theo returned to Salem with Tyler Joseph Andrews portraying him. Though he hasn’t always been on-screen, Theo’s presence has remained important, especially as a member of the Carver and DiMera families.

Theo’s Roots in Salem

Theo is the son of Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Lexie Carver (Renee Jones). His childhood was marked by heartbreak when Lexie passed away in 2012, leaving Abe to raise him on his own.

Despite that loss, Theo’s extended family gave him strong ties across Salem. His autism was written into the storyline, giving the soap a chance to portray challenges and strengths with compassion and authenticity.

From Friend to Romantic Lead

As Theo grew up, he formed deep bonds with Salem’s younger generation. He was especially close with Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Claire Brady, relationships that shaped his teen years.

Eventually, Theo became involved in a love triangle with Claire and Ciara, a storyline that elevated him to the role of romantic lead. His friendship with Ciara endured even when she chose Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), and Theo’s loyalty to her became one of his defining traits.

Theo’s Later Storylines

In more recent years, Theo has returned to Salem periodically, often at turning points in his family’s lives. In 2021, he was briefly engaged to Ciara while she was struggling with amnesia, a plot that created tension once she regained her memories of Ben. Theo eventually stepped aside, showing maturity and respect for her choices.

Since then, his appearances have been less frequent, but his ties to Abe and the Carvers ensure he will always be part of the canvas.

Theo Today

Theo last appeared on DOOL in 2023, when he returned to check in with his family. While he hasn’t been on-screen until now, his legacy in Salem remains intact. As the son of Abe and Lexie and a member of both the Carver and DiMera families, his story is far from over. With so many ongoing twists in Salem, Theo will make his mark again this time around.
