Next week on Home and Away on Channel 5, Lacey decides to take matters into her own hands when David hits a dead end with the investigation into Kristina’s crash. Meanwhile, Eden is worried after making a discovery about Cash.

Elsewhere, Mac and Levi get life-changing news, and Harper has a worrying accident.

1. Eden struggles with the wedding plans

Eden struggles with writing her wedding vows and her anxiety is heightened when Cash refuses to let her see his.

When Eden sneaks off to find them, John catches her in the act and doesn’t believe her excuses over what she was doing instead.

Eden feels even more pressure when Abigail interrupts her day with Cash and explains that the hen party is happening later that night. Eden is apprehensive over the plans, but feels she has no choice but to go along with it anyway.

2. John makes a mistake

With Eden feeling overwhelmed, John presses forward with the planning and asks Leah about the wedding cake.

Leah is surprised to learn she’s supposedly in charge of it, but John insists they are going for a traditional wedding and tells her not to bother Eden.

John’s interference comes back to bite him when he later learns from Eden that the cake is included with the venue.

Before he can fix it, Cash casually tells Leah the same thing, leaving Leah secretly furious with John.

3. David follows a new lead

Cash tells David that they’ve been able to trace the owner of the car that Jo remembered during her hypnotherapy and that the vehicle was sold six days after the accident.

David brings the owner – Councillor Craig Wendell – in for questioning, but he acts confused and denies anything to do with an accident involving his old car.

As Councillor Wendell leaves, he locks eyes with Jo, who rushes off to tell Lacey about what happened.

4. Jo and Lacey team up

As David continues to dig for information about Councillor Wendell, Jo and Lacey have a plan to speed up the process.

They come up with a plan to tell David that Jo is having a panic attack, so he’ll rush home, giving Lacey a chance to snoop in his office.

When David arrives home, he is annoyed to find Jo alone, unaware that Lacey has already sweet-talked her way past the desk at the station.

Inside, Lacey snaps quick photos of David’s investigation board, determined to uncover the truth herself.

5. Mackenzie and Levi get life changing news

Mackenzie is feeling hopeful after her embryo transfer, but Levi reminds her that it’s too early for pregnancy symptoms and thinks they should manage expectations.

But with Mac unable to focus on anything else, Levi eventually suggests they take a pregnancy test.

The couple are overcome with emotion when the test is positive – Mac is pregnant.

6. David faces a major setback

David gets a call from a lawyer ordering him to cut all contact with Councillor Wendell immediately.

Things get even worse for David when he gets a call from the super intendant, who has been alerted to the investigation and the involvement of a lawyer.

Defeated, David heads to Salt, where he confides in Justin about his fears of letting both his daughters down, and his late wife too.

7. Eden makes a worrying finding

Eden continues to worry about what Abigail is planning for her hen, and Cash is relieved that Tane is seemingly organising a far more low-key celebration for him instead.

However, when Cash learns that Tane has bigger plans, he and Eden convince both Tane and Abigail to cancel everything and secretly plan their own party instead.

With that problem sorted, Eden focuses on her vows and finally gets her hands on Cash’s. After reading them, Eden is even more anxious and confides in John that she is worried Cash is going to embarrass himself.

8. Mali makes a discovery

Mac and Levi are overjoyed about their pregnancy but decide it’s too soon to share.

When Mali discovers the positive test and worries it’s Abigail’s, Mac reveals the truth, leaving Mali delighted.

Mac and Levi enjoy having someone else in on the secret but agree to keep it quiet for now, not wanting to overshadow Eden and Cash’s upcoming wedding.

9. David makes a difficult decision

David tells Justin that he has reached a dead end with Councillor Wendell’s case and fears that might mean breaking the rules – something he’s never done before.

Later, David clears his office of the case evidence and closes the file, finally accepting that it might be time to let go.

10. Harper has a worrying accident

Sonny is left mortified when he accidentally pops a champagne cork into Harper’s eye.

With Harper in pain, Sonny and Dana are forced to take her to hospital.

At the hospital, Bree wants Harper to stay overnight for a CT scan and specialist review.

With no improvement, Harper fears losing sight in her eye, prompting Bree to organise another test.

11. Cash makes a confession

The celebrations are in full swing at Cash and Eden’s party, but she is still worrying about his vows.

Eden confides in Remi that Cash’s vows are utterly terrible, and she doesn’t know what to do about it.

However, a drunk Cash later admits that he deliberately planted the bad vows, after learning Eden had been snooping.

12. Remi faces another setback with Bree

Bree and Remi have an awkward interaction when they bump into each other at the hospital, and he is disappointed to discover she won’t be attending Cash and Eden’s wedding like he’d hoped.

Feeling deflated, Remi pays her a visit the following day, wanting to find out why she’s not going to the wedding.

Bree is forced to give him the time of day but makes it clear that she is skipping the wedding because of him, and they’ll never be friends.

13. Lacey takes matters into her own hands

Theo is stunned to learn that Lacey spent the night outside Councillor Wendell’s house.

Despite Theo’s warnings, Lacey pushes forward with her own investigation, insisting she’ll continue with or without him.

With Theo on her back, Lacey lies that she is giving up on her plan, but as soon as he has gone, she leaves a threatening voicemail for the councillor.

14. Dana refuses to forgive Sonny

Sonny is guilt-ridden over Harper’s accident and is even more upset when Dana makes it clear he’s to blame.

Despite his attempts to apologise to Harper, Dana remains unimpressed and tells him she wants him gone.

Realising he needs to change his ways, Sonny vows to show up properly for Dana, but his efforts are short-lived when she gets the wrong end of the stick.
