11 huge Emmerdale spoilers for Corrie crossover week (5 to 9 January)
Major secrets come to light on Emmerdale next week, from Bear’s ordeal at the hands of Celia and Ray, to Charity’s shattering lies about her unborn baby as Mackenzie’s powerful reaction has the potential to change everything.
And with John Sugden’s reign of terror derailing Aaron and Robert’s renewed relationship, a series of twists lead the trio headfirst into danger.

1. Aaron makes a shock move to take control of the situation with John

At Aaron and Robert’s flat, John is bound and gagged and the gun remains aimed at him. Then, unexpectedly, Aaron knocks Robert unconscious. John dares to hope that his plans for a new life with Aaron are about to come true.
As John and Aaron prepare to flee, Robert is still out cold, and Aaron gives John a passionate kiss to confirm his loyalty.
But outside, Aaron draws John into a hug and suddenly seizes the gun from him. John desperately tries to retrieve the weapon, but after a struggle, Aaron regains control and orders John at gunpoint to drive them to the police station.
2. Robert begs Joe to help save Aaron from John
Robert regains consciousness and panics, staggering out of the flat with blurred vision. Desperate to reach Aaron, Robert pleads with old enemy Joe for help to rescue Aaron from John.
Meanwhile, Aaron continues to aim the gun at John as he drives, but with John in control of the vehicle, all hell threatens to break loose. When Joe finally agrees to help Robert, can they catch up to John and Aaron in time?
3. April returns home – as Rhona, Marlon and Laurel hide mystery guilt

Laurel appears panicked and guilty as she furtively stashes something in a drawer, while Rhona makes a secret call and Marlon looks just as guilty as he sends a text. Worried sick about missing April, what are the pair hiding – and what about Laurel?
Ross pulls up outside with a dishevelled April, clearly with their own story to tell. Marlon is thrilled to have his daughter back, but when Rhona asks about any repercussions from Ray and Celia, April’s answer is noncommittal.
4. Mackenzie confronts Charity over baby betrayal in an ominous car chase
Pregnant Charity’s web of lies has sunk in for Mackenzie, but he manages to hide his rage as he convinces her to get into his car. Charity realises that Mack knows what she’s been hiding, and that she’s now in a perilous position.
Mack asks Charity if it’s his child she’s carrying, and she finally concedes the baby might not be Sarah’s. Mack is heartbroken and in disbelief that Charity would have let her granddaughter raise a baby that isn’t her own.
He insists they go to the airport to catch Sarah heading off on honeymoon and tell her the truth, and Charity fails to dissuade her husband. As Mack drives at speed, he thinks he’s spotted the car Sarah and Jacob are in, and slams down on the accelerator…
5. John loses control on the road as Mack crashes in crossover special
At the same time, John is pressing hard on his accelerator and Aaron makes a last-ditch attempt to intercept him. But as Aaron grabs the steering wheel, this allows John to swoop in and grab the gun and the car veers dangerously out of control.
As Emmerdale merges into Corriedale for one night only, John is now holding Aaron at gunpoint. Will Robert be able to save his beloved Aaron?
Cain and Moira are taking Sarah and Jacob to the airport when they are blinded by Mack’s headlights. When Mack’s car crashes, Cain desperately tries to save the situation, and as horror unfolds on the road, we see a mysterious van containing a terrified, bound woman.
6. Someone makes a huge confession as one villain is being watched
At the hospital, there are endless revelations over what happened and why. When a confession emerges, the perpetrator is relieved to be in the clear, but little do they know that someone has been watching and recording their every move. Who’s been caught out, and who’s doing the catching?
7. A beloved character remains in peril
A much loved villager is in potential mortal danger as the aftermath of the crash takes its toll.
Whoever they are, will they pull through?
8. The truth about Bear is exposed as Ray and Celia’s dark deeds are revealed
April has told her family everything and is determined to go to the police. But there’s panic when the clan realise for the first time that vulnerable Bear has been kept at Celia’s farm as a forced worker for months.
As they fear the consequences from Ray and Celia if they act on this new information, April doubles down on her decision to report them.
In the Woolpack, Bob shocks the locals with an announcement about Celia and Ray’s operation.
9. April waits for an arrest and Paddy fears for Bear
Even so, Paddy, Rhona, Marlon and April can’t help hoping that this nightmare will soon be over. But as April grows convinced that she’s about to be arrested for Callum’s murder, will she find out that the man she believes she killed is still very much alive?
10. A body lays undiscovered in a haulage van
By now, viewers will have watched a lifeless body being dragged away by an unseen assailant.
Meanwhile, as the village recovers from the week’s events, Jai is at the depot, poised to head out on a haulage run. But when Caleb tells him it can wait until tomorrow, the van is left behind – with no one aware that a body lays inside!

11. Robert worries for the farm’s future after the Celia revelations

There’s early confirmation that Robert will survive the carnage, as by the end of the week he’s filled with regret by a conversation with Kim.
As Kim spells out the impact of Celia running her illegal empire from their farm, the penny drops for Robert just how serious this is. Can he turn things around?





Rhona is tasked with breaking the news about Bear to a returning Paddy. Although in shock, Paddy kindly tells April and Dylan that this wasn’t their fault. But with Bear still missing, the police sadly inform Paddy that he should prepare for the worst. Will Bear be brought home?
