đ±â ïž Costello fears the worst in Coronation Street video amid Becky’s latest move
Coronation Street loves a good-bunny boiler. From Mad Mayaâs obsession with Dev Alahan to creepy Caz Hammond framing Mara for murder because she just wasnât that into her, the soap has a proud history of big, bad gloriously bonkers villainesses who go to unhinged lengths to make their demented dreams come true.
In the spirit of that tradition, I say long may Becky Swain (Amy Cudden) reign!
First the unhinged undercover ex-cop faked her death to escape the wrath of Spanish gangsters â a solid six on the crazy-o-meter. Then, she started targeting the corrupt detective inspector, Jeremy Costello (Daon Broni) who helped her get away with it by threatening his daughter and even having him hospitalised.
We can go ahead and upgrade that score to a seven. Costello wanted to send Becky back to Spain â and death â where her little resurrection act couldnât threaten his career.

But unfortunately for Costello, his continued existence was getting in the way of Beckyâs plans; playing cuckoo in the nest with Carla Connor (Alison King) so she could win back her ex Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) and daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin). That has to be a nine. Nine point five.
So far, Beckyâs plan has been working. Growing increasingly frustrated by Lisaâs inability to see her demented exâs true colours, Carla packed her bags and moved out. But she didnât give up. Forming an unlikely partnership with Cobbles Copper Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), Carla has been determined to prove that Becky had something to do with the attack on Costello and expose her for the girlfriend-stealing Fatal Attraction wannabe she truly is.
However, scheming Beckyâs managed to stay one step ahead. And to the distress of Swarla fans everywhere, Lisa couldnât deal with the heartache or Carlaâs lack of trust and finally called time on their relationship.
